An interview with Guy Maddin

Beet.TV and the Cinema Echo Chamber are partnering to deliver incisive and timely video interviews with film directors, technicians and industry personalities that delve into the cross-section of aesthetics and technological innovation. Our first subject is Canadian director Guy Maddin, whose sublime new film My Winnipeg opens today via IFC Films. Filmmaker Magazine's Scott Macaulay did a neat interview with Guy in the current issue and The New York Times had a terrific piece on him and the film run last sunday, in lieu of A.O. Scott's glowing review of the film this morning.
